CADAIR offers high quality regenerative combustion furnaces (RTO), ideal for handling medium to high concentrations of hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
The RTO features three or more regenerative chambers positioned in front of the oxidation chamber. These chambers are filled with ceramic media that cyclically absorb and release heat, recovering thermal energy generated during the oxidation process.
With optimized engineering, heat recovery efficiency often exceeds 95%, significantly reducing the energy needed to sustain combustion temperatures.
RTO systems are designed for long-term, continuous, and stable operation, making them a high-efficiency and energy-saving solution for VOC treatment.
Note: If halide-containing pollutants (e.g., chlorine, bromine, fluorine) are present, the combustion temperature should be elevated to 1100 °C, and post-combustion acid gas treatment must be considered.
