CADAIR offers high quality regenerative catalytic combustion furnaces (RCO), ideal for handling low concentrations of hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). RCO is an advanced upgrade of the traditional RTO system.

The system includes three or more regenerative chambers filled with ceramic media that cyclically absorb and release heat, achieving heat recovery during VOC oxidation.

In the middle of the thermal storage layer, 2 to 3 layers of catalysts are added, enabling VOCs to combust efficiently at lower temperatures (260–300 °C). This significantly reduces energy consumption and operating cost.

Thanks to the ultra-high heat recovery efficiency (≥95%), even if VOC concentrations are below 1,000 mg/Nm³, the system requires almost no additional heat during operation — making it an exceptionally energy-saving solution.

Note: Catalysts may lose activity over time if the gas contains heavy metals (e.g. lead), toxic elements (e.g. sulfur, phosphorus, arsenic), or halides (e.g. chlorine, bromine, fluorine), as these substances can bind irreversibly with catalyst materials.

  • The pressure differential instrument can feedback the plugging state of the thermal storage ceramic and catalytic layer in real time to guide the maintenance and replacement
  • The temperature instrument can feedback the temperature of the thermal storage layer and the combustion chamber in real time to guide the adaptive operation
  • High temperature bypass is set on one side of the combustion chamber, and the valve can withstand 1200℃
  • The top of the combustion chamber is provided with one or more explosion-releasing pieces
  • The exterior of the box can be provided with a climbing ladder, platform and fence
  • For the occasion of compact site, 2 tower or rotary structure can be used
  • When the catalyst fails, it can be switched to RTO mode operation
