CADAIR Successfully Completes Semiconductor Waste Gas Treatment Project in Beijing, Enhancing Sustainability in the Electronics Industry

  1. Pre-Treatment Phase: The exhaust gas is initially subjected to pre-treatment, where large particles and high-boiling-point substances are removed. This essential step safeguards the integrity of the zeolite rotor, preventing potential damage from harmful contaminants.
  2. Zeolite Rotor Concentration: The pre-treated exhaust gas is then routed to the zeolite rotor, where the low-concentration, high-volume gas is concentrated up to 18 times. The zeolite rotor works by adsorbing the waste gases onto its surface, reducing the volume and increasing the concentration. This allows for the use of a smaller, more efficient thermal oxidizer, significantly reducing both capital investment and operational costs.
  3. Thermal Oxidation: Finally, the concentrated exhaust gas enters the thermal oxidizer, where it undergoes high-temperature combustion. The oxidation process transforms harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into benign substances, primarily carbon dioxide (CO₂) and water (H₂O). This process not only destroys pollutants but also minimizes the system’s environmental footprint.

All system performance indicators met the design requirements, ensuring the waste gas treatment process operates efficiently and within the regulatory limits.
