CADAIR provides high quality direct fired furnace systems that address emissions of high concentrations of hazardous air pollutants (HAP) as well as volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
TO is a thermal oxidation furnace, also known as DFTO (Direct Fired Thermal Oxidizer). Its working principle is based on high temperature combustion and a large amount of excess air, thus oxidizing pollutants, polluting gases stay in the combustion chamber for a certain time (usually 1 to 2 seconds), and maintain an operating temperature of 800 to 1100 ° C, and eventually transform into harmless carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (HO2).
The actual operating temperature depends on whether the polluted gas contains halides (such as chlorine, bromine, fluorine, etc.). If the above halides are present, the operating temperature should be 1100℃, and the discharge treatment of acid gas after combustion should be considered simultaneously.
