What is an RCO (Regenerative Catalytic Oxidizer)?
An RCO (Regenerative Catalytic Oxidizer) is a hybrid air pollution control system that combines the heat recovery efficiency of regenerative technology with the low operating temperature of catalytic oxidation. It is ideal for treating medium to high VOC concentrations while minimizing energy costs.

How Does an RCO Work?
- Waste gases are preheated through ceramic heat exchange media.
- Instead of requiring 800–1000°C like RTOs, the catalyst lowers oxidation temperature to 250–400°C.
- VOCs are oxidized into CO₂ and H₂O, achieving high destruction efficiency with lower fuel consumption.
